Here at The Grouse Inn, we are able to cater for people with a range of dietary requirements, including those that need to be lactose free. We stock widely available lactose-free alternative ingredients such as:

  • soya milk
  • soya cream
  • soya custard
  • soya ice cream
  • lactose free cheese

Please ask a member of our team to help you in making menu choices where a lactose-free meal is required.

Our beautiful location in the Dee Valley affords us fresh air and clear mountain streams, which in turn creates nutritious, healthy grass for the sheep and cattle that spend their lives on the hills of North Wales. We use local produce such as lamb and beef worthy of our home-cooked dishes, from curries and stews to pies and Sunday lunches. Well-known favourites include fish & chips, gammon steak and grilled trout. In addition to tasty vegetarian dishes, our comprehensive understanding of a variety of food allergies and intolerances means that we are happy to prepare lactose and/or gluten free dishes which in no way compromise on flavour or choice. Rest assured, you will enjoy a meal at The Grouse Inn, whether you choose from the main menu shown above, or from our daily Specials Board.
